Living Well with Diabetes

The workshop will provide you with tools to manage your diabetes. Facilitators do not give advice, rather share techniques & tools to help you find useful options to feel better while living with diabetes. Participants learn self-management techniques to fight fatigue, problem solve, make decisions, develop action plans, eat wisely and manage stress, meal choice and preparation, foot care and ways to improve communication with family and your health care provider. Advocating for yourself is essential. This course will help you gain skills and confidence to better self-manage your health and outlook on life! Caregivers welcome. Participants will receive a free Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions book and relaxation CD in order to support your continued journey to wellness.
