The Lake Oswego Neighborhood Action Coalition (LONAC) will hold its regular monthly meeting at 9:30 Saturday morning, at the Oswego Heritage House, 398 10th Street.

The purpose of LONAC is to provide an organization through which the membership may work together for the general improvement of the community of Lake Oswego, to enhance citizen participation in the decision making process of community government, and to maintain and improve the livability and welfare of the community for all.
LONAC welcomes visitors and neighborhood representatives who may want to participate in discussions of City and neighborhood issues. LONAC is also involved in following METRO government activities. LONAC often takes positions on important local issues and attempts to influence government bodies on the organization's viewpoint.

Event Title: Proper Tree Pruning Workshop
Where: West End Building, 4101 Kruse Way

This free workshop will help participants understand why and how to prune to develop healthy and attractive trees and shrubs. Explore pruning types, proper cutting tools and techniques, and tree responses to pruning. Bring your favorite pruning tools and appropriate clothing for working outside. Event Title: Tree Branch Craft Project

Kids of all ages are invited to celebrate Arbor Week at the Library with a special "Make a Blossom Tree Branch" craft program. No sign up is needed - participants can just drop in to the children's room to join the fun. Also, be sure to look for tree-themed book displays all week at the Lake Oswego Library.

Event Title: Easter Egg Hunt
Where: Lake Oswego Hunt

NOTE: The City is NOT holding an EASTER EGG HUNT this year.

However, there is a Family Egg Hunt at Lake Oswego Hunt, 2725 Iron Mountain Blvd. at 11 a.m., featuring the Easter Bunny, Otis & Friends, Pony Rides, LO Fire Truck, LO Police Cruiser, Barn Tours, "Bella" the Rabbit, Treasure Eggs, Egg Recycle Station.

Register at entrance for a chance to win the giant chocolate bunny.

Event Title: Clackamas County Dog Services Low Cost Vaccination Clinic

If your dog or cat is in need of vaccines, Clackamas County Dog Services can help. Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella (for dogs) as well as rabies and FVCRP (for cats) will be available at a vaccination clinic on Saturday, April 7. The clinic will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Clackamas County Dog Shelter, 13141 SE Highway 212, Clackamas.
