In 2014, the City of Lake Oswego began a continuous process improvement program. “Lean Oswego” is focused on improving service to customers by streamlining and otherwise improving city processes. A side benefit, in many cases, is improved efficiency. Savings in staff time and operating costs through the changes so far are estimated at over $600,000 annually.
