Join the Arts Council for their First Friday Opening to kick off the month-long event - Friday, January 5 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The Arts Council of Lake Oswego (ACLO) offers the community a great opportunity to clean out your art collection and collectibles, along with finding some new treasures during the month of January!
2018 artMART will be accepting donations of artwork that may no longer have a place in your home, office or has been stored away in boxes collecting dust! This includes works such as paintings, drawings, frames, sculptures, prints, ceramics, quilts, fiber art, photographs, posters, mixed media and more! ACLO will accept artistic creations in good condition, determined by the Arts Council staff.
Work will be accepted through January 13, Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 510 Museum & ARTspace, located at 510 1st Street in Lake Oswego. Starting on January 5 art on display will be for sale and can be yours to take home that same day!
Arts Council of Lake Oswego is a 501(c)3 non-profit and participants will receive a tax receipt for donations and contributions. All funds raised from this event will go toward funding outreach and education programs.
Get a year-end write off for 2017, or a jump start on your 2018 donations while supporting your local arts community, and while you’re at it, find a new treasure or two! All artwork that is not sold will be donated to the Community Warehouse in Portland with the mission on providing artwork to neighbors in need.
