The Friends of Tryon Creek, along with the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department, are kicking off the summer months with a variety of different activities including the Pedalpalooza Ride (the Tryon Creek Watershed Council's bike powered restoration tour) on June 22.
For the Pedalpalooza Ride, the public is invited to accompany the Friends of Tryon Creek and the Tryon Creek Watershed Council as they follow the course of the Tryon Creek watershed and stop off for brief tours of restoration sites. The ride will be moderate difficulty and 7 miles in length.
This ride is from 2-4 p.m. and is free. Meet in the parking lot of Riverdale High School, 9727 SW Terwilliger Blvd., Portland, 97219. Pre-registration is appreciated for this adult program.
