#YouAndBlue at Tinseltown Trolley

Saturday, December 1, 2018 - 1:30pm to 4:30pm

In Lake Oswego we are fortunate to have a Police Department devoted to ensuring the community’s safety on a daily basis. In an effort to change the conversation about law enforcement in today’s world, the Police are continuing their campaign #youandblue. The campaign debuted in 2016 and after over-whelming success, it continues this holiday season. It’s designed to celebrate the partnership between citizens and law enforcement. Community members are encouraged to share positive interactions with law enforcement in their daily lives - introduce yourself to our officers, have a conversation, and share the small everyday moments that promote positive relations, humanity and good. Then take to social media to share photos and include the hashtag #youandblue. You might be surprised to learn that there are expert mountain climbers, scuba divers, Veterans from all branches of the military, gardeners and world travelers in our Police Department.

Citizens are encouraged to take part in the City’s #youandblue campaign!
