The City Council may create standing citizen advisory boards,
committees or commissions to aid the Council in the conduct of
public affairs. Advisory boards are standing committees
not required by state law and are appointed by the Council to
advise and make recommendations to the Council regarding topics
specified in the Committee’s enabling provisions. Commissions
mean a standing committee that is required by state law or to
which the Council has delegated final decision making authority.

This lists the chairs and vice-chairs of the standing Boards and Commissions established by Council.

dates, times, and location of each Board or provides staff assistance
to each Board or Commission is listed.
Vacancies
A list of the current vacancies on the various Boards
or Commissions is provided, including a description, duties, and
qualifications to serve on that particular Board or Commission,
a link to the application, and the closing date when applications
