Jack Hoffman was elected as the Lake Oswego Mayor in 2008. He was also twice elected to the City Council and served from 1998 to 2006.   Jack has been a practicing attorney since 1976. He is a partner in the firm of Dunn, Carney, Allen, Higgins, and Tongue, specializing in land use, environmental, condemnation, and general litigation.  He was named to the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers®, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.

 

Mayor Hoffman received his law degree from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College. He has B.S. degree in Zoology and a M.S. degree in Environmental Science from Washington State University.

Roger Hennagin is a local lawyer in private practice emphasizing employment law. His civic involvement includes the Lake Grove Neighborhood Association, Boones Ferry Commercial Club, Friends of the Willamette Shore Trolley, Chamber of Commerce, Lake Oswego Rotary Club, Downtown Lake Oswego Transit Alternatives Advisory Committee, Metro's Lake Oswego/Portland Transit Alternatives Advisory Committee, LOHS Parents Club, and the Multi-Agency Strike Force Re: Purchase of Willamette Shore Line.

Councilor Hennagin earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at Seattle University.

Donna Jordan has a background in public relations and advertising management for public utilities and private corporations. She was also a licensed realtor. Her governmental experience includes the Lake Grove Village Center Advisory Committee, the Lake Oswego Transportation Advisory Board, Oregon School Boards’ Association, Portland Public Schools Board, and the Multnomah Education Service District Board.

Councilor Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from the University of Oregon.

Mary Olson has a professional background in accounting and financial management, and is currently working part time for the Oregon City School District.  She has been active in local political campaigns and has served on many school committees and non-profit boards.  She served two terms on the Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and served a partial term on the Planning Commission prior to her election to the Council. 

Councilor Olson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Southern Oregon University.  She also has a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Portland.

Sally Moncrieff is a community activist and volunteer. Her participation has included serving as the chair of the Palisades Neighborhood Association, Lake Oswego Foundation Board, Local Option Campaign, Our City Our Future Campaign, Lakeridge CUP Steering Committee, and numerous school committees.  She has a background in telecommunications sales management.

Bill Tierney is a supervisor with Portland General Electric.  His governmental experience includes service on the Development Review Commission, South Shore Bridge Planning Committee, and the Oregon Public Utility Commission Task Force Utility Joint Use Rules. 

Councilor Tierney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Fairfield University and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Connecticut.

Dan Vizzini is a Legislative Analyst for the City of Portland, Bureau of Environmental Services.  He brings 34 years of professional experience in government affairs.  In addition to his professional experience, he served on the Lake Oswego Planning Commission from 1998 to 2008.  He served as co-chair of the Quality of Life Indicators Task Force and Chair of the Affordable Housing Task Force.  He has resided in Lake Oswego for 23 years. 

Councilor Vizzini holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston University in Economics and has completed graduate course work in government and public policy as well as management and supervisory training.

Councilor Vizzini fills the unexpired term vacated by Kristin Johnson.
