Nominate Your Unsung Heroes
The Unsung Hero Awards were created by the City Council in 2001 to recognize individuals who contribute to the quality of life in our community without reward or recognition. Because these people are often working behind the scenes, your help is needed to identify candidates for this honor before the November 4, 2011 deadline.
If you know someone who spends his or her free time volunteering, taking time to help their neighbors, trying to make a difference in the lives of those around them, or sharing acts of kindness with others, you should submit his or her name for nomination. Call the
Citizen Information Center, 503-635-0257 or stop by City Hall for a nomination form.
