Country Club Road Street Improvements - WO #064
This project consists of installation of five landscaped medians along Country Club Road, a sidewalk from Sundeleaf Drive to an existing asphalt concrete sidewalk on Boones Ferry Road, and a storm water collection system that will catch water from the street and divert it to a
newly reestablished wetland. The landscaped medians will add to the beauty of Lake Oswego by adding plants and trees to the area while also allowing more water to infiltrate into the ground. Landscaped medians have also been used in other municipalities as traffic calming devices. The sidewalk will allow safer pedestrian access to the schools along Country Club Road. |
Affected Streets
Both Country Club Road and Boones Ferry Road are directly affected by this project with the neighborhood roads along Country Club between Boones Ferry Road and Knaus Road being indirectly affected.
Neighborhood Associations in the area: Forest Highlands and Uplands. |
Funded by
Surface Water Fund, Transportation System Development Charges, and Street Fund.
|
Current Status
