Wastewater Line Extension 2006 - WO #074

The City established a program in the mid 1990's to facilitate the extension of the sanitary wastewater collection system to serve properties within the City's urban services boundary (USB) that do no yet have service available.  A new project is underway to construct approximately 5,300 feet of line in three different neighborhoods.  One project will be in the Deemar Way and Mardee Avenue neighborhood near Bryant Elementary School.  The other project will be in the Upper Drive neighborhood between Bryant Road and Boones Ferry Road.  the third project will be in the Stonebridge Way area of the Glenmorrie neighborhood.  The projects will provide service to approximately 70 properties currently using on-site wastewater disposal systems (septic tanks and drain fields).  Each property that connects to a line constructed under the sanitary sewer extension program is obligated to pay a line connection charge to cover the program cost.  These extension program projects have a combined budget of approximately 1-million dollars.

Affected Streets
