The City has installed 18
benches at various scenic locations
throughout Lake Oswego's pathway system. So far, thirteen
of the City's benches have been sponsored by a professional
organization or dedicated in someone's memory.
Every bench that is sponsored or dedicated has a 2"
x 10" brass plaque installed on it describing the
dedication or listing the sponsorship. Only one
bench remain to be dedicated. It is located
behind the sidewalk near the large Douglas-fir
tree at Lake Oswego Junior High School on Country Club Road.

already have dedicated and sponsored benches are located
on Iron Mountain Boulevard, Bryant Road, Kerr Parkway, South
Shore Boulevard, Springbrook Park near Wembley Park
Road, Westlake Park, Pilkington Park, Lake Oswego Library, and Andrews Road at the entrance to Tryon Creek State Park.
Anyone interested in dedicating or
sponsoring one of the two benches remaining may contact
Will Weber at 503.635.0284. The complete cost of each bench including
installation is $1,800.00.
