Lock Box Program
All new buildings must provide access to the Fire Department in emergency situations. Lake Oswego Fire Department has selected the Knox company for our lock box program.
Instructions how to obtain a lock box:
The Fire Prevention Division is responsible for conducting inspections on all new businesses and all construction projects. The Fire Department has developed a "New Construction Checklist" to assist developers and contractors with requirements from the Fire Code.
Fire access roads need to be a minimum of 20' in width. To prevent parking in the fire access road, signage on the curb or signs posted along the road are required.
