Our natural open spaces, native plantings, tree
ordinance, restoration projects, and water and energy conservation
are some of the ways Lake Oswego protects and preserves its
natural resources. Citizens value the quality of life in
their community, and a significant contributing factor
to livability is the balance maintained between developed
and natural areas. Council and staff are committed to making
sustainable choices for the City, now and in the future.
