The City publishes two newsletters to publicize current news
and events about the City: the "Hello LO" which is mailed to approximately 22,000 people each month; and the “LO Down ”, an electronic newsletter distributed twice per month.
In addition, the Public Affairs Department
regularly distributes press releases to regional media. While some receive
coverage and others do not, they will all be posted here for your review.
Hello LO
Lake Oswego’s monthly newsletter, Hello LO, provides information about important events and opportunities in the City, including Library and Parks & Recreation events, concerts, and workshops. This publication also includes detailed articles on topics important to the community and inserts relating to water conservation, community art, and wildlife.

The LO Down
Lake Oswego’s electronic newsletter, LO Down, is published twice a month and highlights breaking news, significant projects, City Council actions, and other upcoming community activities and events. The e-newsletter keeps residents informed about local government and encourages involvement in decisions affecting them.

Council Digest
The Council Digest is a weekly compilation of reports to the City Council from City Departments and outside agencies concerning upcoming meetings, status of projects, and other items of interest to the Mayor and Councilors.
