Public Library Most Popular Movie Source

According to a recent survey by OCLC, (a nonprofit library research organization), the U.S. public is checking out a whopping 2.1 million movies each day from public libraries.  That’s more than they rent from Netflix, Redbox, or Blockbuster!  Of course, FREE is a good price.  Lake Oswego Pubic Library is regionally renowned for our excellent movie collection.  We’ve got recent releases galore, and also foreign films, movie classics, and educational DVDs.  Check ‘em out!

Children’s Room Popular Destination

We were recently honored to have famous local author Roland Smith lead a book discussion group on Peak, one of his adventure novels.  Smith’s books sure fly off the shelves at our Library!

Summer Fun for Teens

When they're not reading books for Teen Summer Reading, our teen Library users are having fun at our video gaming events. Most recently, we had a Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament.
