Food for Fines

Throughout February, Library users were able to have their overdue fines forgiven and help those less fortunate at the same time.  We waived $.50 in overdue fines for every non-perishable food item brought in.  Last year, the public donated 3,0005 pounds of food to needy families, enough to feed 60 four-member families for four days.
