Throughout the Library, there are books on display related to sustainability. Also, the following three events relate to sustainability: |
Performing Arts Series
Our Second Wednesday Performing Arts Series event featured Trashcan Joe. They create a unique, jazzy sound by playing instruments made from recycled and found objects. |
Author Talk
Local author Daniel Gottlieb will discuss global warming and the related propaganda and misinformation on Tuesday, May 17th at 7:00 p.m.

Environmental Book Group
The book discussion group will discuss The Fires of Home by Daniel Gottlieb, on Tuesday, May 24 at 7:00 p.m. The novel explores humans’ connection to the earth. To sign up, please call (503) 534-5665. |
Open Forum
Our May Forum features a talk and sharing of Emily Dickinson poetry
on Thursday, May 26 at 7:00 p.m.

May Art Display
Our current display features the work of 15 area artists, inspired by the Lake Oswego Reads 2011 book Cutting for Stone. Pictured above is a painting by artist Susie Cowan. |
Teen Gaming Event
Gamers in grades 7-12 are invited to a Pokemon and Mario Kart gaming event
