Loan Periods for Library Materials:

Check out up to 50 items & place up to 15 holds at a time with your Library Card!

 

Most items may be renewed for up to 5 additional check-out periods

if they have not been placed on hold by other users.

Renewing Items:
Accepted credit cards image TELECIRC is an automated phone service of all the public libraries of Clackamas County.  TELECIRC will call you when items become overdue or when items which you placed on hold are available to be picked up in your library.  TELECIRC will leave messages on answering machines.  TELECIRC also allows you to call on on a touch tone phone to renew items on loan, list items on loan, to cancel items being held at your library for pickup, and check your current fine total.

TO RENEW BY PHONE, USING TELECIRC:  Dial  503-659-8634

 

Enter the barcode from your library card, press the # button.

 

Enter your PIN number (typically the last 4 digits of your phone number),

press the # button.

 

Choose from Telecirc’s options, and follow the prompts:

 

To renew titles – press 1

To list titles on loan – press 2

To list or cancel titles on hold – press 3

To state your current fines – press 4

To list overdue items – press 5

To record your name – press 6

To listen to a library message – press 7

To repeat these options – press #

To exit, press * button

You may also call the Library to renew at (503) 697-6582.


Connect to the library catalog.  Login with your card number and pin number to renew items and review your materials.

Returning Items:

Books and audio/visual materials returned in the library entrance book chutes go directly to our check-in area.

Fines for overdue items are $0.25 cents per day for each item to a maximum of:

Telecirc imageRental collection items are $0.25 per day until returned.

*If Lake Oswego Public Library items are lost or returned damaged, the replacement charge is assessed along with a non-refundable $5.00 processing fee. The replacement charge, minus any overdue fines,  will be reimbursed if the lost item is returned
within six months of the due date.

Proof of identity: 

Current driver's license or DMV issued ID card

Current passport

State certificate of birth

Current student body card

 

Proof of residence:

Current driver's license or DMV issued ID card

Property tax statement

Rental Agreement

Personal checks with name and address imprinted

Business mail postmarked within last 30 days

Vehicle registration

 

Applications for children aged 15 or younger must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
