Lake Oswego loves its library.  It enriches the lives of everyone in our community, regardless of age or economic circumstance.  Donating to the Lake Oswego Public Library is a way for people who believe in the power of public libraries to change lives and to help keep our library strong.

General donations are often received from people who enjoy the Lake Oswego Public Library and want to contribute a gift, but do not have a specific purpose in mind, other than the overall improvement or the future of the library.  Your support will help the library work toward a richer, fuller life of learning and enjoyment for everyone in our community!   Donations are tax deductible.

Other Ways to Donate

A great way to support the Lake Oswego Public Library and clean up your home or office bookshelves is to donate your used materials to the Friends of the Lake Oswego Public Library.  The Friends will resell your donations at their used bookstore, The Booktique, located in the Providence Mercantile Building on the corner of Boones Ferry Road and Kruse Way.  Proceeds from the sales help to sponsor library programs and new materials.

The library could not be as successful as it is without the hundreds of volunteers who donate their time to us each year.  Click the link below to find out more about volunteering for the library.
