In February
Lake Oswego Library's popular Food for Fines program returns! The program allows Library users to reduce their overdue Library fines by $.50 for each non-perishable food item donated at the Library. The food is donated to the Clackamas Service Center, which distributes the food to local residents who are in need. Last year, members donated 2,615 pounds of food, which was enough to feed 52 four-member families for four days. Many fine-free cardholders donate food items also!
