Provide Genealogical Assistance:
Many patrons need help researching genealogy. As a Genealogy Volunteer, you’ll be there to guide them through the process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons who request assistance in genealogy
- Refer people who need help in other areas to a reference librarian
Required Skills:
- Previous experience as a genealogist
- Experience using HeritageQuest and Ancestry Plus software
Program Notes:
- Training in library procedures is provided
