Provide Genealogical Assistance:

Many patrons need help researching genealogy. As a Genealogy Volunteer, you’ll be there to guide them through the process.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patrons who request assistance in genealogy
• Refer people who need help in other areas to a reference librarian

Required Skills:

• Previous experience as a genealogist
• Experience using HeritageQuest and Ancestry Plus software

Program Notes:

• Training in library procedures is provided
