The City has applied to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) for a $4 million Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) "Enhance" grant to fund pedestrian and bicycle components of the larger Boones Ferry Road - Madrona to Oakridge/R
Improvements on Second Street between A & B Avenues include reconstructing the deteriorating roadway, new stormwater catch basins and planters, wider sidewalks with ADA accessible ramps, decorative streetlights and furniture, landscaping and street trees, and a sitting area at Second Street and B Avenue.
