The Children's Garden Program offers many classes and activities such as:

Upcoming Programs - Register Now!

Kids in the Kitchen gives children hands-on fun in the kitchen! Kids learn important cooking skills while preparing a healthy meal.

Luscher Farm Family Dinners - Spend an afternoon cooking at Luscher Farm with your child and Chef Laura Content. Parent and child create a family dinner using local and seasonal produce. Families are invited to join the class at 4pm for a home cooked dinner at the farm. Menus focus on seasonal ingredients, including farm grown produce.

Seasonal Programs 

Barnyard Tales - Join Luscher Farm staff for a free, weekly story time on the farm, followed by a short tour of the Children's Garden on Wednesdays starting up again April 10, 2013 at 10am. Parents must accompany children ages 3 through 8. Bring a picnic and enjoy some time with your children at the farm after story time. Follow Storyteller Lynne's Barnyard Bulletin here!  

Farm Explorers - Parent and child join our farm naturalist to explore Luscher Farm. After story time, children hike around Luscher Farm and learn about the habitat of Luscher Farm. Meet our farm cats, observe local bird life, discover interesting insects and see what grows in the garden during the Summer. Drop-in fee of $5. Classes are appropriate for ages 3-8. Starts April 10, 2013 at 11:30am.

Backyard Chickens for Kids! - Kids, see how fun chickens can be! How to care for chickens and chicks, learn about chicken anatomy and fun facts about chickens.
