City Council Action Re-Cap
On February 16, City Council had a regular meeting where they approved an amendment to a contract that will allow installation of the dock at Foothills Park this summer.

At this meeting, Council also:
• Adopted a collective bargaining agreement between the Lake Oswego Police Officers’ Association and the City of Lake Oswego
• Awarded a public improvement contract to GeoDesign, Inc. for pavement design services
• Approved a special procurement of a contract amendment for engineering design and construction management services relating to replacement of the Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer
• Authorized a work change directive expanding the scope of work for the Lake Full Phase of the Lake Oswego Interceptor Sewer project to include the installation of six deep-well anode piles

Preceding the regular meeting, Council held a special meeting where they heard a presentation regarding the formation of an Urban Strategic Investment Zone (SIZ) with Clackamas County Business and Economic Development Department.

On March 2, the Council will hold a public hearing on a proposed increase in the Street Maintenance Fee.  A public hearing is also scheduled to consider a supplemental budget.

Detailed information on the above items is included in the Council Packet. For Council packets, as well as meeting summaries and minutes, or to view past meetings, visit the City Council's webpage.

All Tuesday evening Council meetings in the Council Chambers are televised.  Regular City Council meetings and study sessions are shown live on Channel 28 at 6:30 p.m.

Ensure that everyone is counted. For more information, please visit www.2010census.gov.

For questions, contact Public Works Director Guy Graham at 503-675-3998 or Public Affairs Manager Christine Kirk at 503-635-0285.
