Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation department is undergoing a resource management planning process
for Iron Mountain Park.
The Iron Mountain Park Management Plan process will develop a detailed inventory of plant species within the park, assess the condition of the overall park, provide insight to develop strategies to begin invasive species removal and restoration efforts. The intent over time, is to restore Iron Mountain Park into a fine example of an Oregon forested park with prime examples of douglas Fir and Oak Savannah. This plan will also help guide the City in prioritizing restoration efforts.
