What is the program?
The program is a cooperative effort between Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation and Citizens. Through an agreement with the City, an individual, community, or group assumes responsibility for growing produce in a plot offered at Luscher Farm to donate to those in need.
Why was the program created?
Adopt-a- Plot offers Citizens the chance to participate in organic gardening at Luscher Farm and to maintain the Demonstration Garden as a teaching tool to educate and address food security issues in our area.
How do we adopt a plot?
Call 503-675-2549 to register and pay a $25.00 seasonal fee. After a participant has registered an Adopt-a-Plot docent will call to schedule your orientation training at Luscher Farm to help get you started.
Call Dawn Grunwald, Luscher Farm Coordinator at 503-534-5284.
