Classes & Activities

Parks & Recreation produces seasonal catalogs that provide the most up-to-date information about classes and activities, special events and camps. Registration for residents of Lake Oswego begins as soon as you receive the catalog. You will find all our classes and activities on the registration website. Scholarships are available, too. Complete the scholarship application and mail it to the address provided on the form.

 

Adult Activities

Get Creative! -- Painting, drawing, and glass fusion fusion classes (platters, plates, ornaments, wall pockets & more).

Get Interested! -- Cooking, gardening galore, health seminars, investment & financial planning, and foreign languages and more.

Get Moving! -- Dance (Latin salsa, ballet, ballroom and belly dancing), stretching, Nia, Pilates, fencing, martial arts, many different forms of Yoga.....drop-in basketball and volleyball, league basketballl, adult coed soccer, & adult slow-pitch softball.

Get Outdoors! -- Fly fishing, Thursday Hikes & Rambles, rafting, kayaking & canoeing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing, rock climbing, and even mountain climbing are awaiting you.

Classes for Adults & Students with Disabilities: -- Dance, fitness, trips and much more. Students with disabilities are encouraged to enjoy any recreational activities we offer or choose a class specially designed with needs of students with mobility or disability concerns in mind. If you find a class that sounds interesting, we can assist you.
