(Iron Mountain Park: 50.99 acres of natural area and stream and wetlands.)
Roll up your sleeves with Friends of Iron Mountain Park to restore this incredible 51 acre natural area to a healthy eco-balance. Whether planting native species or removing invasives that smother the native plants, each bit of Stewardship makes a difference. Hike Iron Mountain Park’s winding trails up to the scenic overlook and view wetlands and a hidden pond! Beavers, deer, rabbits, raccoons and a variety of birds appreciate your TLC in the natural area that is their home! Please wear sturdy shoes, bring gloves and water.
Parking: Trailhead is behind the Oswego Hunt Club via graveled Brookside Rd, off of Twin Fir Rd.
