The Girls Youth Lacrosse Kindergarten Start-Up program introduces young players to the basic skills of the game with fun activities. Program includes practices and inter-squad scrimmages. Participants must currently be in Kindergarten.

U.S. Lacrosse curriculum for soft-lacrosse is used as a foundation. Soft-lacrosse utilizes sticks with specially molded-heads and a larger, softer ball than a regulation lacrosse ball. This modified equipment is designed for youth to achieve quick success executing the basic skills of lacrosse (cradling, passing and catching).

Equipment is provided for use during the Kindergarten program and no additional protective equipment is required for soft-lacrosse.
