Parks Reservations
Reservations for picnic shelters are accepted between March 1 and October 31 of each year. Check out our shelters and amenities, and find and download reservation guidelines and forms.

Parks General Information
With over 600 acres of park property, the Lake Oswego community takes pride in supporting parks and open space.  Find out more about the Department and the history of our parks.

Parks Maintenance
Meet the amazing staff who care for over 600 acres of parks property and open and natural areas as well as keeping our City beautiful. Parks Maintenance provides maintenance for the City’s park system athletic fields, Indoor Tennis Center, Adult Community Center, and Golf Course, as well as a city beautification program. Parks Maintenance offices are located at the City's Maintenance Center, 5705 Jean Road. The phone number is 503-635-0280.

Parks Guidelines are a subset of Parks Rules which affect Park rental and usage and are administered and enforced by Department staff and the Park Ranger.

Pathways
In the spring of 1991, the City began the construction of a recreational loop system of pathways around the community. Each loop is designed to connect neighborhoods with schools, parks, and commercial centers. Funding for the majority of the system was provided by the bond measure approved by the voters in 1990.

Skate Park
The 9,600-square-foot park is located near the corner of Pilkington Road and Willow Lane, two blocks south of Boones Ferry Road and one block north of Jean Road. Find out hours of operation, user fee information, and more.

Swim Park
Open during July and August, the Lake Oswego Swim Park on Ridgeway Road is a free facility open to all Lake Oswego residents and features a wading pool, an intermediate section, a lap area, and water cannons. There are qualified lifeguards on duty at all times.

(NOTE: This is not the Lake Grove Swim Park located on Lakeview Blvd. The Lake Grove Swim Park is operated by the School District, 503-635-0355, or 503-534-2000.)
