WE ARE MAKING

The Building counter will
close at 12PM
Thursday, May 10th for
software conversion
purposes.
The Building Counter will
reopen
Monday, May 14th at 8AM.
On May 14, 2012 we will be making the transition to a new permit issuance & tracking system. The new system sponsored by the State of Oregon Building Codes Division, will be a web based program that will provide the public with access to our processes 24/7.
Our new software will allow the customer to
schedule inspections using a touch-tone telephone
or over the internet. The system is available 24
hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are using a telephone call 1-888-299-2821 or if you are using the internet visit www.buildingpermits.oregon.gov
once the website appears follow the prompts to log-in and schedule an inspection.

Some other features of the new State of Oregon
web based program will include:

Customers can follow the permit process from start to finish over the internet.

Customers can apply for permits and submit plans on-line 24/7.

Contractors and homeowners can schedule inspections 24/7 by browsing the internet or the use of a touch-tone phone.

Inspectors will post the results of their inspections from the field and homeowners and contractors will receive the results of those inspections by e-mail.

NOTICE:
On April 1, 2011 the State Legislature made Radon Mitigation Measures Mandatory for all newly constructed buildings in the Counties of Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, Baker, Hood River, Polk, and Yamhill.
As of April 1, 2011 All New buildings submitted for review in the City Of Lake Oswego will have to include construction details showing their Mitigation Strategies.
