New Inspection Process is Here!!

The City of Lake Oswego Building Division has implemented a new Interactive Voice Response (IVR) System as of April 17, 2006. 

Contractors or homeowners will receive a brochure of the inspection codes and instructions at the issuance of their permit.  Click here for link to brochure: IVR

This affects how you request inspections.  The system is implemented and you MUST use the IVR System to schedule an inspection. 

The inspection request phone number has remained the same, but without the codes you will not be able to schedule an inspection.

A “brochure” is available  that explains the system and gives Inspection Code numbers for requests. 

With this new system you will also be able to obtain inspection results over the phone.  The inspectors will be entering the inspection results from the field and you will have your result available almost immediately following the inspection. 

Many of you are already familiar with this type of system as Clackamas County, Washington County, Tigard and Portland use this type of inspection request system.  Ours is very similar to these systems and operates in the same manner.

This is a phone system only.  Requests and results will not be available on the website.
