F. Davidson House, Circa 1898

Location: 1008 Oak Street

Frank E. Davidson, second son of Oswego Pioneer Lucien Davidson, worked on the Oswego log hoist.  The house is significant as one of the best preserved examples of the Vernacular style in the city.  The dwelling retains the overall form and massing that is characteristic of the style.  The

dwelling is enhanced by historically appropriate plant materials-including several fruit trees and a barn, which dates to the historic period.
