The City Council has adopted Ordinance 2524 and it becomes effective on July 1st.  This ordinance amends portions of the Community Development Code to promote compatibility of new residential development with the character of existing development.  To view the adopted ordinance and exhibits, use this link:

On June 1st the City Council tentatively approved Ordinance 2523 and will consider its adoption at their July 6th meeting.  Ordinance 2523 amends Goal 2 (Land Use Planning) of the Comprehensive Plan supporting zone district overlays as a means of implementing neighborhood plans.
