2012 Arbor Day Art Contest Winners
In addition to being beautiful, trees also make the air we breathe, provide shade on sunny days, produce fruit and nuts, and so much more. What do trees mean to you? That was the theme of the 2012 Arbor Day Art Contest, sponsored by the City of Lake Oswego and Frog Pond Toys. In all, 41 TREErific masterpieces were submitted in two age categories and six winners were selected on National Arbor Day, the last Friday of April. Prizes will be awarded by the City Council on May 8th at City Hall, 380 A Avenue, shortly after 6:30 pm. Thank you to all who participated in celebration of Arbor Day!
