| After nine months, 17 meetings and the review of hundreds of documents, the Second Look Task Force is completing their process. The Second Look Task Force was charged with reviewing the environmental and regulatory purposes of Sensitive Lands regulations, and providing recommendations to the Planning Department for changes that comply with Metro and State Standards, increase flexibility and clarity, and maintain the community’s commitment to our natural environment. |

The City Council has set the following schedule to review, receive public input and adopt the policy recommendations.
June 22 at 6:30 p.m. and
June 23 at 6:30 p.m. |
City Council Study Sessions — to review recommendations with staff and Task Force members. |
June 29 and 30 at 6:30 p.m.;
July 10 at 10:00 a.m. |
City Council meetings dedicated to public comment. |
| July 20 at 6:30 p.m. |
Council discussion and adoption of Sensitive Lands Program improvement and approval of next steps. |
Note - All meetings are at City Hall in the Council Chambers, 380 A Avenue, Lake Oswego (maximum capacity 164 people). Meeting dates and times may be subject to change.

Questions and comments regarding the Sensitive Lands Code and second look process may be submitted at anytime via email to nature@ci.oswego.or.us.
The Task Force’s charge does not include developing specific Code amendments or revisions to the inventory of properties mapped as Sensitive Lands.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR INTERESTED PARTIES TO PARTICIPATE |
After the City Council study sessions on June 22 and 23, the City Council meetings on June 29, June 30, and July 10 will be dedicated to public input about possible changes to the Sensitive Lands program. The Council anticipates adopting policy recommendations on July 20. Questions and comments regarding the Sensitive Lands Code and Second Look process may be submitted at anytime via e-mail to council@ci.oswego.or.us.
