Welcome to the City of Lake Oswego’s Planning information
page. Land use planning involves the consideration and
balancing of many different factors and issues to make the best
decisions for the community both for the short and long term. The
Planning Department has two components: Long
Range Planning and Development
Review.
Department Information
The Planning
staff are located at 380 A Avenue on the third floor of City
Hall. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. No new applications can be submitted after 3:30 p.m. Please
note that staff are not available on Wednesday afternoons
from 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.

with the Community Development Director, two professional
planning managers, nine professional planners, one code
enforcement specialist, two assistant planners and three support
staff. We
