Long Range
Planning supports the Planning Commission and creates and
maintains policies and plans that guide future development and
infrastructure within Lake Oswego. For example, Long Range Planning
maintains and periodically updates the Cityís Comprehensive Land Use
Plan, Transportation System Plan, Public Facility Plan and implementing
land use ordinances and standards. This requires coordination with
other jurisdictions, agencies and community groups and preparation of
staff reports and recommendations to the Planning Commission and City
Council.

Addressing growth
management issues, including compliance with Metro Growth
Management Functional Plan, Urban Reserve Planning and maintenance of
relevant data-bases
