The process began in late 2002 when the City held a series
of public workshops to develop plan concepts including a village
center/village commons, a vital commercial business district,
an office employment corridor, pedestrian friendly cross-streets
linking to businesses along Boones Ferry Road, and development
that provides a mixed-use transition from intense retail along
Boones Ferry to single family residential in the adjoining neighborhoods.
In late 2003, the Lake Grove Town Center Implementation Advisory
Committee began meeting. The committee has been charged
with refining the plan and developing implementation strategies
