The City has partnered with Friends of Tryon Creek State Park and Tryon Creek Watershed Council to expand their successful landscape mentoring program across Lake Oswego.  Through this program, homeowners can access free classes and one-on-one assistance to incorporate ecological principles in their landscaping.  The program includes information on landscape edibles, improving the soil, and getting a handle on ivy and other plant bullies. Landscape for conservation and enjoy more birds and butterflies, while reducing the need for fertilizers, herbicide, and extra summer water.
