About Sustainability Action Month
The Lake Oswego Sustainability Advisory Board will hold its fourth-annual Sustainability Action Month this coming May.
Occurring at venues throughout the City, Sustainability Action Month presents opportunities to explore and solidify the community connections that make Lake Oswego a great place to live and work, and provides participants with inspiration and tools to move toward a more sustainable lifestyle and community. Events are open to the public and cater to all groups—businesses, families, individuals and employees.
Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB)
The SAB was created by the City Council in 2008 to “promote the sustainability of the community as a whole, considering public and private actors and their effects on ecological, economic, and community systems.” The Board is comprised of nine adult and two student volunteers from all walks of life, working together to build a community with a high quality of life, a healthy environment, and a strong and resilient economy.
