The City Council will consider the Planning Commission's recommendation at their July 31st meeting.
April 10, 2012
At its meeting on April 9th, the Planning Commission approved the the Findings, Conclusions and Order and forwarded their recommendation for the City Council to approve the proposed amendments.
March 13, 2012
In a preliminary vote at its March 12th meeting the Planning Commission voted to approve the proposed amendments. Staff will return on April 2nd with the Findings, Conclusions and Order for a final vote.
January 23, 2012
The hearing is now in the deliberation phase and no further testimony will be taken. However, the Commission asked staff to return with additional information regarding Items 5 and 6 (page 3) of the staff report, dated January 13, 2012. Item 5 is related to code amendments to the non-conforming section of the code and Item 6 is related to code text amendments dealing with the width of sidewalks. At their discretion, the Commission may accept additional testimony regarding these specific issues on March 12th.

The Planning Division’s Case File may be viewed by the public Monday - Friday, excluding holidays, 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. in the Planning and Building Services Department. Persons are encouraged to contact the Project Manager to arrange for a suitable location to review the materials in the Case File.
Note: Materials exempt under the Oregon Public Records Law, ORS 192.501 and 192.502 may be withheld from public review of the Case File; such materials are NOT a part of the “record” before the reviewing authority in determining whether or not the proposed development complies with the applicable criteria.
