Amendments to the Comprehensive Plan Map, the text of the Comprehensive Plan, and the Community Development Code (CDC). Proposed amendments will implement the Foothills Framework Plan by creating a new Special District Plan for the Foothills area.

At its special meeting on November 5, 2012, the Planning Commission reviewed the draft Findings, Conclusions and Order and made several revisions. At its regular meeting on November 14, 2012, staff will return with revised Findings for the Planning Commission's consideration.
The City Council is tentatively scheduled to hold a study session on this proposal at its meeting on November 13, 2012 and the public hearing is tentatively scheduled for November 27, 2012. At its October 22, 2012, meeting, the Planning Commission made a preliminary decision to recommend that City Council approve this proposal contingent upon the Council making a specific finding that the proposed amendment is in compliance with Metro’s Title 3, LU 12-0032, Ordinance 2599 (Exhibit A-1.1, as revised pursuant to Findings No. 6 and 7). The Findings, Conclusions & Order (the final decision) will be considered at a special meeting on November 5, 2012.

An informational meeting will be held on the Foothills Mixed Use Zone and related amendments on Thursday, October 4, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at City Hall, 380 A Avenue, Lake Oswego.
