Urban & Community Forestry 2018 Volunteer Opportunity - Springbrook Park
Saturday, April 21, 9-10 a.m. remove invasive species and plant natives
Mother Earth needs some help with spring cleaning to spruce up Springbrook Park. Join Friends of Springbrook Park as they remove ivy and invasive species that smother native species in this majestic 50.49-acre natural park. This restoration contributes to important habitat for plants and animals and improves the watershed. After the work party, explore 2 miles of winding trails that cross over footbridges spanning Springbrook Creek. Look for directional signs to the Stewardship work party site.
