Lake Oswego Police policy provides guidance to department members and establishes appropriate controls to ensure that members of the Lake Oswego Police Department do not engage in racial or bias-based profiling or violate any related laws while serving the community (2015 Oregon Laws c 681 § 2).
The Lake Oswego Police Department will investigate all complaints of alleged bias based policing complaints against its members. File reports/complaints of Bias-Based Policing or "profiling", through the Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee (LECC). The information is provided on their website at: www.pdx.edu/cjpri/lecc. Or you may call the Program Manager of LECC, Salome Chimuku, at (503) 725-5221.
An electronic copy of the LECC complaint form is also available at the bottom of this page.
