Planning Projects Underway
Parks Plan 2025! Adopted July 31, 2012
The Parks Department is currently underway developing PARKS, RECREATION AND NATURAL AREAS SYSTEM PLAN (PARKS PLAN 2025) which is a long range planning document for the Parks Department.
Luscher Area Master Plan (LUSCHER PLAN)
The Parks Department is also in the process of developing a new master plan for the Luscher Farm Area. The last plan, which was developed in 1997, included the area that now consists of Hazelia Field and Luscher Farm. Since the adoption of the 1997 plan the area has grown and the City now owns 151+ acres of property surrounding Luscher Farm and Hazelia Field. To properly plan the future of the area, a Luscher Area Master Plan planning process is inderway.
