Celebrate the Beauty of the Farmers’ Market
Calling all talented Artists! Would you like to see your creation on posters all over town? The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market is looking for individuals to help create two different promotional posters to represent the 2013 Market. We need your creativity and artistic talent to help promote this popular community event. Any medium is welcome.
Adult Competition:
Adults (18 and over) are invited to create a promotional poster depicting the 2013 Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market. Posters must be 8.5” x 11” and must include the following:
- 2013 Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market
- Saturdays, May 18-October 12
- 8:30am-1:30pm
- Legible name and phone number on the reverse side of the entry
Youth Competition:
Youth artists are invited to design a creative poster depicting the Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market Doggy Daycare Program. Posters can depict any aspect of the Doggy Daycare program - a favorite dog, unique pooch, etc. Use your imagination! Posters must be 8.5” x 11” and must include the following:
- Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market Doggy Daycare
- Legible name, phone number, and age must be on the reverse side of the entry
Entries are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6. Please submit to:

Adult and Youth masterpieces will be on display at the West End Building February 11 to March 1. The public is invited to stop by, view the posters and vote for their favorite in each category. There will be one adult (Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market Poster) and one youth (Doggy Daycare Poster) winner. Winners will be notified by March 8. Winning entries become property of the City of Lake Oswego and may be used for promotions.
