Join with us for an evening of song with Nan Collie & Kathleen Fallon, Tuesday, September 3, 7:00-8:30pm. Portland area singer-songwriters Collie and Fallon will perform original songs based on their life experiences of relationships, hope, change, life’s small absurdities, and more. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and admission is free.
With their strong blend of vocals and acoustic guitars, they are known for their warmth, spontaneity and rapport with their audiences. Throughout their over thirty years of performing they have acquired loyal fans from Canada to California and beyond who appreciate their heartfelt and often humorous lyrics as well as their commitment to each other and to their audiences. They are probably best known for their work with the NW group Motherlode, with whom they have recorded eight CDs. Nan and Kathleen’s newest CD, released this spring, “Say Yes,” is an energetic and inspirational compilation of their newest songs. An evening spent with this duo is one that will keep your toe tapping and your heart humming for a long time afterwards!
